I Have A Shed

My shed arrived this morning and I spent 4 hours putting it together. I was a little nervous when I first read the instructions because they said that the assembly would require at least two people and most of a weekend. Apparently the instructions were written for those who engage in spastic construction. As a bonus, my shed also doubles as a sauna. I don't think that I have ever sweat as much as I did during the construction today. I wish that it were a little bigger but a:) I didn't want to spend more than I did on it and b:) I didn't really have room for anything bigger. At least it is big enough to hold my lawn mower and the scroll saw that Grandma gave to me. If any of you need to use a scroll saw you are welcome to come over to my house and use it. She gave me a bunch of paint as well, so if you are feeling crafty come on over.

Patio Furniture

My patio furniture arrived this morning and I just finished assembling it. I will miss the comfy swivel rockers on the old set, but it was time for something new. It looks a lot like Nate and Angie's patio set. I guess great minds think alike. I have been waiting for my shed to be delivered all day, and I just got a call telling me that they were out of stock, and hopefully they will be shipping one in tomorrow. I may put off painting until next week, it depends on how long it takes me to assemble the shed.

My next-door neighbors have spent the past week and a half creating heaping piles of furniture, boxes, and junk in their back yard and their car port. I would like to think that maybe they are getting ready to move, but I'm not holding my breath. It would be just my luck that they ran out of storage room in the house and now they are just going to leave all of that junk out where I can see it. It's not bad enough that I have to put up with "Cadance" and all of his hoodlum friends!

Bathroom

Here are some pictures of my bathroom. I wish that I had thought to take pictures before the remodel started. Those of you who have seen my bathroom will appreciate how disgusting it was, and how nice it is now. The picture doesn't give you a true impression of the color. It is more of a teal than a blue.

The Car In The Garage

Stephanie couldn't believe it when I told her that I have finally cleaned out my garage enough to be able to fit the car inside. She wanted a picture, so here is the picture. I am having a shed delivered tomorrow, so hopefully things will fit even better in the near future.

Angela will be glad to know that I have finally made the commitment and purchased paint. I plan to start painting on Thursday. I will post pictures when I am done.
I have finally given into peer pressure and created a blog. I hope that you are happy!
