This is a shot of the old Clover Club lot near my house. They have been talking about turning it into a park for at least the last four years, but nothing has ever happend. A few weeks ago the started mounding piles of dirt on the lot. There are three big mounds of dirt, and each of them is a different color. Every day they drive front loaders around and they smooth down the tops of each mound then they pile some more dirt on top. Could this be the beginning of a park, or are they just paying some guys to play with dirt? Your guess is as good as mine. It reminds me of when I was little and there was a big mound of dirt in the spare lot across the street from the Wilson's house. Colby and I loved to play Cowboys and Indians on the "mountain".

It would be cool to be a park, but they will probably stick a dozen homes on it or something lol.
I wondered where the Clover Club Potato Company went, and where it was. Thanks for letting me know. I wonder why the different colors? It would be a nice park, but would need a fence around it because of all the traffic wouldn't it? Keep us posted.
It would be fabulous if they built a park there or better yet "a DOG PARK". Does the city own the piece of land??
Maybe they could build a bunch of office buildings like they did in Farmington by the Arby's and K-mart. I remember running by them everyday for years and seeing the same "for lease" signs on them. It always seemed like such a dumb location. Have you noticed whether any of those are occupied??

I was down at my insurance agents office the other day over by the old K-Mart and yes, most of those buildings are still unoccupied after being built at least six years ago. Hey wait, we don't own any of those buildings with Gayle, do we?
